Amarillo, Texas Relocation

Amarillo is in Potter County with part of the community flowing into Randall County. The population of Amarillo as of 2005 is 176,999. It is the chief city of the panhandle of Texas. The economy is a bustling one with oil, ranching, meatpacking and flour milling leading the way as well as the manufacturing of helicopters, wood and fiberglass products, rubber and cattle feed. Each year thousands are drawn to Amarillo Texas to visit its internationally famous outdoor musical "Texas", and the Cowboy Morning Breakfast. The name Amarillo comes from the yellow sub-soil in the area and the yellow flowers blooming everywhere and Amarillo means "yellow" in Spanish.
